In today’s technology-centric world, it’s vital for students and employees of the organisation to have basic computing skills that allow them to perform well in the studies and workplace and keep up with the fast-paced environment of modern world. In order to obtain these basic computing skills, the software that I used in the past majorly includes Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint for preparing presentations during my studies. For this purpose, I enrolled myself in computing course in past named as “Introduction to Office 365” in order to learn some basics like how to use everyday word-processing functions such as spellcheckers, header and footer editing, inserting graphics and objects, create edit and use of spreadsheets, data entry skills, writing emails and other etc. However, I didn’t use any special hardware to learn all these skills except a laptop with normal specifications and a medium speed internet. When I first visited my visa consultant to obtain study visa for bachelors in computing course, they presented quite a lot study options to me including courses at De Mont University (DMU). What attracted me towards DMU is that, I could have the opportunity to explore a subject  I’m passionate about, enhance my employability chances, gain independence, enjoy new experiences and find the people who will push me to achieve things I never thought I could. DMU is considered to be UK's best university for helping students build their careers, so you can secure your degree as well as the skills and knowledge you need to get a head start in your career. Currently I have taken Computer Science BSc (Hons) course at DMU which is accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional. It has around 4 mandatory modules in year 1, 4 mandatory modules in year 2 and 3 mandatory modules in year 3

Hi everyone, this is my blog which i have posted in order to provide the complete and entire background information about myself. It will explain about how i developed my interest toward the field of computing and how was my learning experience in DMUIC.
